Frequently asked questions.

HOw does a basic photo session work?

It's simple and stress-free. Just contact me directly through this website to get started. We’ll talk through the details of your photo session and explore the best options based on your needs. Whether you prefer an on-location shoot, a session at your office, or the comfort of your own home, I bring the professional studio setup to you.

No matter the setting, I’ll make sure you feel comfortable, confident, and ready to capture your best moments. Payment is due the day of the photo shoot.

How long does a headshot or portrait session take?

A basic session usually lasts about 60–90 minutes, depending on the number of looks or locations. We’ll confirm all the details ahead of time so you know exactly what to expect.

How long does it take to get my final images?

Final, edited images are typically delivered within 2-3 days via a private online gallery. Rush delivery is available upon request.

How Do Image Rights Work with the Photographer?

When you hire me for a photography session, you are purchasing a license to use the final edited images for specific personal or commercial purposes, depending on the agreement. As the photographer, I retain the copyright to the images. This is standard practice in the photography industry and allows me to protect the integrity of my work.

You are granted rights to use the images as outlined in our agreement—whether that’s for personal use (such as printing, sharing on social media, or displaying at home) or for commercial use (such as marketing, advertising, or branding). The extent of usage rights will always be clearly stated before the shoot.

If you require extended usage—such as exclusive rights, resale, or publication in large-scale media—those can be arranged through a custom licensing agreement.

How does pricing work with photo sessions?

Pricing starts with a standard session fee of $350 for headshots and portraits. This includes pre-session planning, a fully guided photo session at your chosen location, and a private online gallery for image review. It does not include final edited images.

From there, pricing can vary depending on factors such as:

  • The number of final edited images

  • Additional locations or outfit changes

  • Specialized retouching or custom editing

  • Commercial licensing or extended usage rights

Every project is a little different, so I’m happy to provide a custom quote based on your specific needs. My goal is always to deliver high-quality images with clear, upfront pricing—no surprises.
